Highlighting the Rental Obligation item on the Navigation Tree and pressing the Insert key or selecting Add with the right-click of a mouse creates a rental obligation. The rental data is used to calculate loan qualifying ratios only if the Continued Rental “Yes” radio button is selected. Additionally, the information is used to complete print forms, and to determine payment shock for automated underwriting.
